Hot on the heels of our founder and CEO, Kate, being featured in J.P. Morgan Private Bank‘s Top 200 Female Powered Businesses in the UK, Banjo Robinson has struck GOLD! 

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that we are joint gold winners in the prestigious 2021 MadeForMums awards in the subscriptions and gift box category!

The number one website in the UK for professional parenting reviews, MadeForMums is packed with honest advice and recommendations to help make family life easier and more fun. 

Their eagerly anticipated annual awards feature a range of categories including play, feeding, wellbeing, fashion and books. With over 1000 products put through a judging process involving a panel of judges and at-home trialling by 600 family testers – we were delighted to be included!

Joining an impressive list in the subscription/ gift box and services category, the judges tested Banjo on quality of products, value for money, ease of use, learning opportunities, innovation/unusual features.

This brilliantly simple service sees globe-trotting cat Banjo Robinson send a personalised letter to your child twice a month, prompting them to write a reply. The letters are utterly engaging and convincing – both our child testers, neither of whom are usually very keen or reading or writing, immediately penned their replies. “The content of the letter is fantastic and the designs colourful and eye-catching,” explained one tester. 

Product tester Jodie, mum of 1 added: 

“I struggle to get my six-year-old to do his writing for school but on receiving Banjo’s letter, he couldn’t wait to reply. I found him downstairs at 7am writing his letter before breakfast! He was terribly excited to post his response and is eagerly anticipating Banjo’s next letter.”
