Keep your kids entertained at half term!
Banjo Robinson travels around the globe sending letters (real letters!) to children, turning reading and writing into a game.
This half term feels a bit different as many of our community are living in lockdown and can’t take the kids out as much. And after six intense weeks of homeschool, we all need a break – and a distraction!
The Cats at Banjo HQ are on hand to help with a FREE printable half term activity pack to enjoy at home.
With 18 fun-packed pages, Banjo will take your child around the world providing fun facts, creative challenges, games and recipes from each of the seven continents. We’ve even included some special letter and drawing paper too so they can send letters and pictures to Banjo!
Both educational (learning without realising!) and a little bit silly (much like Banjo himself), the pack will teach and entertain whilst encouraging interesting follow-on activities too. Go through the pack as a family or print it off for your child whilst you have a well-earned break and then enjoy their delight as they tell you all about what they have learnt.
If your little one wants to know:
- where to find a lemur
- how to make an origami fox
- which continent is the coldest
- how to say ‘ice cream’ in Brazilian Portuguese
Focus on one continent each day of half term or enjoy a full afternoon of Banjo fun. We’ve even included some suggestions for further exploring that you can do together.
Once the journey is over, send us photos of your child’s pictures and letters to Banjo to be entered into a draw to win some extra Banjo goodies. Email firstname.lastname@example.org by 28 February 2021 to be in with a chance.
